Who we are

East & Co Mobile Auto Locksmith ("we", "us") is an owner-run mobile vehicle locksmith based in Scunthorpe, North Lincolnshire. You can contact us by phone or WhatsApp on 07761 733471.

What data we collect and why

• Contact details you give us - such as your phone number, name, vehicle details and location - only when you call or message us to request a service. We use them to quote, find you and carry out the job.
• Job details - your vehicle make, model, registration and the work done, kept for our own records of completed jobs.
• Proof of ownership - we view your V5C and photo ID to verify you own the vehicle. We do not retain copies of your ID.
• Analytics - if you consent, we use privacy-friendly analytics to understand which pages are visited. See "Cookies" below.

Cookies and analytics

We use a single cookie to remember your consent choice. We do not use marketing or advertising cookies, ever. If you accept, we load a privacy-friendly analytics tool (Google Analytics 4 with IP anonymisation) to count visits and see which pages are popular. If you decline, no analytics script loads. You can change your choice any time by clearing the consent cookie in your browser.

[OWNER: confirm your analytics provider and measurement ID in src/lib/analytics.ts, and update this section if you use a different tool.]

How long we keep your data

We keep job records only as long as is reasonable for a service business - to handle any queries about a job we carried out. We don't keep copies of your photo ID. We don't sell or share your data with third parties for marketing.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have rights over your personal data, including the right to ask what we hold, to ask us to correct it, and in some cases to ask us to delete it. To exercise any right, contact us by phone or WhatsApp on 07761 733471.

Contact

Questions about this policy or your data? Call or WhatsApp us on 07761 733471. We don't run an email or postal contact for privacy queries - phone is the owner-run way to reach us.
