A spare now saves a crisis later
If you only have one car key, you're one lost key or one snapped blade away from a major problem - and a major bill. An all-keys-lost job costs many times what a spare does, because every key has to be made from scratch and the old set erased. A spare, cut while you still have a working key, is the cheap, calm version of the same fix.
The good news is it's quick. Because we still have your original key to work from, cutting and coding a second key is a single-visit job. We come to your home or workplace, do it at the car, and you carry on with your day.

Service-specific FAQs
How much cheaper is a spare than an all-keys-lost job?
A lot. A spare is a single key cut and coded while we still have a working key to work from. An all-keys-lost job means creating every key from scratch and erasing the old set - far more labour and equipment time. Getting a spare now avoids that bigger bill later.
Can you really do it while I wait?
For most popular makes and models, yes - we cut and code the spare in a single visit at your home or work, so you don't give up your day. Some vehicles take longer; we'll tell you a realistic timescale on the phone.
Will the spare work exactly like the original?
Yes. The spare is cut to the same lock and coded to the same immobiliser and remote system, so it locks, unlocks and starts just like your original. We test it on the car before we leave.
I only have one key - is now the time to get a spare?
Yes, exactly. If you only have one key and it's lost or damaged, you're straight into an all-keys-lost job. A second key is cheap insurance against that.
